ROTOMOD's head office in Bon Encontre is carrying out major works on its site. A seventh oven dedicated to rotational moulding is currently being installed.
There were several phases before the new equipment was installed. A working group was set up, comprising operators, team leaders, maintenance staff, workshop managers, plant management and senior management. This group studied the technical feasibility of the project, visited other sites and drew up plans to accommodate the new machine.
Reorganisation of the plant and flows: a new 1,600 m2 building was erected on the site to house the new furnace.
The direction of traffic on the site will therefore be altered. It is therefore necessary to create an opening to the east of the plant to accommodate heavy goods vehicles for pick-ups and deliveries.
The new equipment is an oven from SAT THERMIQUE, a company based in Savoie. This is a carousel with three independent arms that can accommodate moulds up to 4 metres long.
This new equipment completes the existing range on our two sites:

This new facility will encourage the development of specialist production centres (water sports; industrial subcontracting; furniture and lighting).
The primary aim of this investment is to secure current markets and production.
The second objective is to develop our business with local and national players by offering a modern site in the south-west of France.
Finally, the third objective is to use this new site as a pilot workshop for implementing the modernisation of production units.
The new facility is scheduled to come on stream at the end of 1er half of 2023.
ROTOMOD will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2023. This new facility reflects the company's determination to grow and to welcome new employees to join the business this year.
