GRAF and RBB agree strategic partnership

The GRAF Group, based in Teningen, has acquired a majority stake in the RBB Group (ROTOMADE, BIOROCK and BIOROTOR), a Luxembourg-based specialist in rotational moulding and wastewater treatment (ANC1). Thanks to this strategic partnership, RBB's entire workforce of over 100 employees will join the GRAF group, ensuring continuity with its teams, customers and business partners.

GRAF, a 2nd generation family group headed by Mr Otto P. Graf, is a European leader in the rainwater harvesting market. It is also active in the decentralised wastewater treatment sector. With more than 650 employees and a presence in 12 countries, the group markets its products in more than 80 countries worldwide. GRAF has been established in France for over 50 years, and this is also a key market for the RBB group.

The RBB Group is a leader in the ANC1 and passive wastewater treatment sectors. Drawing on ROTOMADE's extensive rotational moulding expertise, the group develops, manufactures and markets wastewater treatment solutions through BIOROCK. With its new BIOROTOR product, RBB has also extended its product range to include innovative wastewater treatment solutions for semi-collective systems. With a workforce of over 100 and production plants in Luxembourg and France, the group distributes its products worldwide through a number of partnerships.

Mr Graf (CEO of the GRAF Group) commented: "We have been very impressed by the quality of the RBB team and the innovative wastewater treatment solutions they have developed, which will complement our product range. With this acquisition, we are also strengthening our presence in our key French market, in addition to our existing operations in Dachstein. We extend a warm welcome to all RBB staff and look forward to working with Antoine Machado and his teams to lead the next phase of the Group's development with continuity.

Mr Machado (CEO of the RBB Group) commented: "For more than 20 years, the RBB Group has grown to become a leading player in the field of ANC and rotational moulding. In a constantly changing environment, investment, innovative product development and speed to market are the keys to lasting success. With the GRAF Group, I have found the ideal partner to seize the major opportunities that lie ahead, while maintaining continuity for all our stakeholders.

PwC Luxembourg acted as M&A advisor to the RBB group and provided financial vendor due diligence services.
